Did you know that the PANTONE Universe’s Color of the Year is EMERALD GREEN?!
Well, it is and as part of the Lowe’s Creative Ideas Team, we were challenged to come up with a project using this color. Fortunately, for us this Emerald Green is available exclusively at Lowe’s in Valspar’s Signature Paint, so that’s what I got, and this is what I did:

I made an Emerald Green Photo Gallery Wall in the master bedroom. Pretty sweet, right!?
I LOVE the color and knew I wanted to do a gallery wall of sorts and knew this would be perfect. Unfortunately, we are moving in 2.5 weeks and I already had to take down these pictures and box them up. I’m hoping once we get situated I can re-stencil our master in Texas and put the gallery wall back up, but we’ll see how long it takes. I’m grateful I was able to enjoy it for a few months, though. Making a gallery wall is super easy and all you need is the following:
SUPPLIES:
- Frames (I found several of mine at the Goodwill and the dollar store)
- Paint – Emerald Green in Valspar’s Signature Paint
- Drop Cloth
- Paint Brush
- Command Strips
DIRECTIONS:
1. I was able to purchase everything but the frames at Lowe’s. From there I simply painted the frames, and let dry.
2. From there you put the pictures in the frames and lay out on the ground how you want it to look on your wall. I’m not too much of a perfectionist so I just added the Command Strips on back and added them to the wall.
I also put in a few other pieces (Quote boards) to add to the wall, as well as the Monogram M that I spray painted using Rustoleum’s High-Performance Black Enamel Spray Paint.

As you guys know I’m a little obsessed with gallery walls, and it’s simply because I LOVE pictures and I LOVE decorating my wall… a blank wall is just a sad one in my mind. Image may be NSFW.
